About Ancestral Places
Dadrewa is a village in the Rajgarh tehsil of Churu district, Rajasthan, situated a short distance from present-day Sadulpur. It is a place of considerable historical standing — long before it became the quiet hamlet our family called home, Dadrewa was the seat of a Chauhan Rajput principality, and it is revered across northern India as the birthplace of the folk-deity Gogaji (Johar Veer Gogaji), whose shrine at Dadrewa continues to draw pilgrims to this day, especially during the Goga Navami festival.
It was in this historic village that the Parivar of Late Shri Bhaktaramji made their home, and it is here that the roots of our family's story begin — a story that, over generations, carried the Saraogi name from Dadrewa outward, even as the family's faith and traditions took shape along the way.
